Beyond Academics, a progressive four year post-secondary education program for adults with intellectual disabilities, in partnership with The University of NC at Greensboro has begun to use NDIs Building Assets & Promoting Choice and Community Participation for Persons with Disabilities curriculum.  The Building Assets & Promoting Choice and Community Participation for Persons with Disabilities curriculum was created by NDI as a tool to introduce individuals and community partners to asset building opportunities and to local resources that support asset development.  The creation of the curriculum was funded by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities and implemented in North Carolina with EITC Carolinas and the IDA & Asset Building Collaborative of North Carolina.
