 The REI Tour and IRS SPEC Disability initiative team met for two days this week to revise the IRS SPEC Disability Initiative Training Manual for IRS tax consultants nationwide. The ten-issue guide is a professional tool used by the IRS and provides updated information on why the Tour is important, how to begin a new initiative, important benefit issues specific to disability and veterans and the measures needed to document impact. NDI thanks IRS for its ongoing education of its employees to better serve taxpayers with disabilities!
An adapted version of the IRS tool kit is available for all REI Tour cities to use and provides much of the same information and more! Check out the REI Tour Disability Initiative Toolkit.
