The Real Economic Impact Tour stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 10, 2010 and was warmly welcomed by Pam Smith, Tax and Volunteer Program Manager at the Community Action Project of Tulsa County.

Over 35 non-profits from the disability and private sectors convened to understand how free tax filing assistance, financial education and savings programs can benefit their customers with disabilities. Karen O’Neill, Territory Manager, IRS SPEC provided the group with an overview of the commitment IRS has made in reaching taxpayers with disabilities through its national partnership with the National Disability Institute and the REI Tour and many other national partners.
