After a successful run earlier this year, the BEST Interns program is looking for interns for a new 8-week cycle. This pilot program, funded by the Kessler Foundation, is a partnership between NDI,  Allies, Inc. of New Jersey and the Federation of Community Development Credit Unions to test a two-year employment and career advancement model in New Jersey's financial services sector. 

The internship is a competitive paid opportunity. It starts October 25, 2010 and is open to all individuals in the disability community with a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check. During the course of the 8-week internship, participants will receive:

• 2 weeks of classroom training
• 6 weeks on the job training at a New Jersey Credit Union
• On the job supports (as needed)
• Job Placement assistance after the internship
