REI Tour Makes Stops in Austin and Salt Lake City

NDI's Michael Roush and Katie Metz traveled to Austin, Texas last week to co-host an REI Tour Workgroup meeting with the Internal Revenue Service and Foundation Communities. At the meeting, attendees discussed strategies on how to increase outreach to persons with disabilities on VITA/EITC services and Financial Education.

Yesterday, Michael Roush met with the Earn It Keep It Save It Utah coalition in Salt Lake City. Coalition members shared the successes they have had this year in partnering with disability organizations. In addition to the coalition meeting, disability partners from Salt Lake City came together to brainstorm opportunities to increase the outreach of VITA services to persons with disabilities.
