United Way
United Way sits on the Core Committee of the Cincinnati “Make Work Pay” EITC Coalition. As such, their continued support and involvement has been instrumental in developing and distributing marketing materials, conducting media and non-media outreach events, recruiting volunteers, and routing taxpayers to their “211” line for referral to free tax preparation sites. United Way also serves as the lead agency for convening a Regional EITC Partnership among three coalitions within their “Greater Cincinnati” area (Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky & Butler County). This regional effort coordinated marketing, recruitment and training efforts among the three locations. United Way has also provided funding to each of the three coalitions.
