The Greater Miami Prosperity Campaign (GMPC) is entering their third year of the REI Tour. Just like last year, they have included a question on their intake sheet that asks people with disabilities to self-identify. The question also asks if a family member is a person with a disability. Because of the increased outreach to groups and organizations that target people with disability, we expect to assist more persons with disabilities at the prosperity centers than we did last filing season. The project leader for the GMPC, has also taken over as the lead in the REI Tour for Miami. She continues to reach out to this community and incorporates it in every activity.
